Reg’s Dlog (Well, what else would you call a dog’s blog?)

The Old Girl has been remarkably quiet of late.
And now I know why.
She’s been planning a new book and it will be published shortly.

To be honest, I’m a bit miffed. She promised I would be a character in her next book but I’m definitely not in this one. I suppose it’s not surprising because it is a book about the First World War.
But that’s not the point. She’s a writer. She could have done something to get me in the book.
And she did say that I’ve hijacked her blog and turned it into my dlog, which is surely enough fame for one small dog – but I refuse to be appeased.

So, you’re probably wondering what sort of book she’s written, that doesn’t have a part for a small, but noble dog. Well, apparently, it contains one hundred stories, each one exactly one hundred words long, about people and events in the First World War. It’s not out yet but it’s coming soon and I’ll let you know as soon as you can get a copy. And don’t forget a box of tissues. You may need them. Not, of course that I needed them. I am a tough fellow and any watering of my eyes was purely incidental.

If the Old Girl won’t write me into a book, I wonder if she wants me to be her literary agent.
I shall ask.
Although I may need to wait until she’s a bit less cross. She just told me off for leaving wet tissues all over the floor.

In anticipation of acting as her agent, I’ll put more info on my dlog, when I have it, but in the meantime, why not try the Old Girl’s DAFFODIL AND THE THIN PLACE? You can get it as an ebook from the Muse it Up Publishing site here and it’s available from other ebook retailers. You can also get it in paperback format from Amazon, here. It’ll keep you going until the new book comes out.
