Adam Elliott from DOT Productions as George Burnett and Me

Hi Reg here! I had a brilliant day yesterday, rehearsing in the Old Girl’s dramatisation, “The Sons of Three Countries Remembered”. It’s the first script she’s written and I have to say, she didn’t give me a big part. In fact, I didn’t have anything to say at all. But I didn’t let that stop me. You can see me performing with DOT Production’s Adam Elliott,  in the first photo. Adam plays the English soldier, George Burnett, a real person who came from Wickford, Essex and who died in October 1914 in France.

In the second photo, I’m appearing with Andrew Lindfield on the left, who’s playing an English sergeant and Christopher Walthorne, who’s the English private. We’re all looking over the top of the trench.

And in the third photo, you can see me going over the top of the trench with Andrew and Christopher.

Later today, there are more rehearsals which I’m looking forward to, although I shall be insisting the Old Girl gives me a bigger part.

“The Sons of Three Countries Remembered” is going to be performed on Saturday but if you’d like to see more of what the Old Girl has written click here to go to the Muse It Up Publishing website to buy her ebook, “Daffodil and the Thin Place”. I don’t have a part in that either but I’m definitely going to be in the play on Saturday!
