Reg’s Birthday Tips – #MuseItUp #DaffodilAndTheThinPlace

It was the Old Girl’s birthday on Sunday 28th December. Trust her to have her birthday on such an awkward day when people are recovering from Christmas but haven’t quite got started on the build up to New Year. It’s a bit of a non-day really and she definitely wasn’t excited about it. I could tell. I told her to buck her ideas up – ‘So you’re getting old,’ I said ‘and your face is rather crumpled. So what?’
Sometimes I’m amazed at how easily the perfect words come to me at the right time. It’s definitely a gift. The Old Girl was so overcome with my wisdom, she was speechless and hasn’t spoken to me since.

It’s been a good Christmas though. The Old Girl’s dad, Neddy, and I had a good chat. There was plenty of food and lots of laughs. What more could you ask?

Anyway, it would be good if the Old Girl cheered up and forgot that she’s getting on a bit. And I know how you could help to do that. It’ll only cost you about £1.80 and any profits will go to St. Nicholas Church, Laindon with Dunton, Essex, so it’s a win-win situation. You also get to read her brilliant ebook ‘Daffodil and the Thin Place’. Just go to your favourite ebook retailer or if you can’t think of one, you can get some ideas here on the Muse It Up Publishing website. Or if you prefer, you can send her some beauty tips to help with those bags under her eyes and the wrinkles. Although, if you opt to send a beauty tip, make sure you don’t include your address and definitely don’t mention my name…
