Daffodil and the Thin Place 333x500This week for the Sunday Musings, Chris wants to know ‘What was the best book ever given to you? Fiction or non-fiction, any age.’

That was a hard question to answer. The first book I remember buying with a book token was ‘The History of the World’, which I loved but in the end, I decided on a fiction book. Here’s my answer:

Hi Chris, the best book ever given to me was Enid Blyton’s ‘The Magic Faraway Tree’. It was read to us in infants school and I was completely enthralled in the magical world. I then received the book and read it to myself many times. Since then, I’ve read it to my son when he was young and he loved it too.

Which book is the best one you ever received? If you want to find out what the other Muse It Up authors said, you can find out here on the Muse It Up blog.

If you’d like to read the ebook ‘Daffodil and the Thin Place’, click here to go to the Muse It Up website or go to your preferred ebook retailer. All profits from ‘Daffodil and the Thin Place’ will go towards the renovation fund of the church where the story takes place. You can see the church here.
