Happy New Year

Reg’s Dlog:

So, we’ve reached the end of 2014.

I always get a bit scared at the beginning of a new year. It’s like stepping out into the unknown. The year 2015 is starting just as I was getting used to 2014.

It’s also the time when I am grateful for all the good things that happened and when I make lots of resolutions I might not remember come February.

Here are a few of them: I’m going to travel to more places and make more friends (except cats). I’m going to learn to read and write properly and I might even write a book like the Old Girl. I’m going to keep a notebook and jot down anything interesting that I might later use in the highly successful stories I am going to write. I am going to be famous and people will beg me to have my photo taken with them.

The new year is suddenly looking much brighter. Anyway, have a happy, healthy and peaceful new year from the Old Boy, Old Girl, Young ‘Un and of course, me.

Just in case you haven’t got a copy of the Old Girl’s ebook, ‘Daffodil and the Thin Place’, you can easily rectify this by going to your favourite ebook retailer or to the Muse It Up Publishing website here and order a copy. All profits go to the ancient church St. Nicholas Church, Laindon with Dunton, Essex, where the story takes place. If you like, you could also visit the church and some of the places Daffodil sees in the book. You could even go up those crazy stairs… But mind your head!
