Daffodil and the Thin Place 300dpiThe Sunday Musings instructions from Chris for today are:

Hi,
Been thinking of the process of writing, so here’s the first question on this:
What part of the writing process surprised you the most?

My reply is:

It always amazes me that a story – even a whole book can start from something very tiny, such as a comment, an overheard conversation or an unusual phrase. I’d never heard of a ‘thin place’ but once it was explained to me, my imagination went into overdrive and ‘Daffodil and the Thin Place’ was born. Even more amazing is that stories just pop into my head from nowhere! Sometimes an idea completely unrelated to whatever I’m thinking about appears in my mind and becomes the basis of a story. It doesn’t seem to be anything I have any control over, so I’m always surprised when it happens.

If you’d like to read what the other Muse It Up authors replied, you can read the Sunday Musings here.

And if you’d like to find out more, you can purchase the ebook ‘Daffodil and the Thin Place’ here from the Muse It Up Publishing website. All profits from the sale of the ebook ‘Daffodil and the Thin Place’ will go towards the renovation and upkeep of the ancient church of St. Nicholas, Laindon with Dunton, Essex where the story takes place. #MuseItUp #DaffodilAndTheThinPlace
