My niece and I had great fun taking these photos a few years ago. They were inspired by Slinkachu (Slinkachu website is here), who photographed tiny models of people, placing them in urban settings. My niece piled up pebbles and positioned tiny models of people on top and then we decided which parts we wanted to be in focus and took the photos.
I love Slinkachu’s photos of miniature scenes but I don’t think I’ll be copying his idea of painting snails and photographing them as they crawled about the streets. Not that it would be hard to find a snail to paint – this morning we had three on the patio and 28 slugs!
Life must have seemed surreal to Daffodil in my ebook ‘Daffodil and the Thin Place’, who found herself alive before she’d been born! If you’d like to find out for yourself what happens in ‘Daffodil and the Thin Place’, click here to go to the Muse It Up Publishing website. The price is approximately £1.80 and all profits will go towards renovating and maintaining the ancient building of St. Nicholas Church, Laindon with Dunton where the story takes place. #MuseItUp #DaffodilAndTheThinPlace
