There will be a gathering of Essex Authors tomorrow, on Saturday 18 March 2017 at Chelmsford Library, ready to talk books and writing!
I’ll be there with Colin Payn, author of ‘Dot’s Legacy’ and David O’Neill, author of ‘The Oui Trip’ – both members of the Basildon Writers’ Group. Colin and I also belong to Brentwood Writers’ Circle and members from that group will also be there. If you’re in the area, please drop in and say hi!
The event begins at 10am and there will be workshops and talks until 3pm. Colin will be talking about his book at 11.45 in Reading Room 2, I will be telling everyone about my accident-prone writing experience in Reading Room 1 at 12 noon and David will be the last speaker in Reading Room 2 at 2.45pm.
I have two stories in ‘Essex Belongs to Us’ which will be launched at 2pm and I’m looking forward to meeting many of the other authors in this anthology of Essex-based stories.
Colin, David and I are looking forward to meeting you if you can make it.
